more then likely …
more then likely water did get in it but didnt reach the circuit bored or atleast not a part to short out until it died. whenever an electronic device get set pull the battery right away and is you can open it up and towel dry or use a straw and SUCK not blow all the water off. let it dry completely and put it back together and it might still work.
