WASHINGTON (July 16, 2009) Wildlife populations are increasingly threatened by illegal immigration and the alien smugglers who are cutting paths through federally protected lands. While environmental groups put out study after study detailing potential negative effects of a border fence on the environment, the story of the negative effects of not stopping illegal immigration across the Mexican border is a story that has remained untold, until now.
The Center for Immigration Studies has produced a web video using exclusive hidden camera footage. Additionally, the video includes maps used by the federal government to track illegal activity. “Hidden Cameras on the Arizona Border: Coyotes, Bears, and Trails,” raises questions about environmentalists focus on stopping a border fence, when endangered species and vegetation have already been proven to suffer significantly where no fence exists. Abandoned vehicles, drug drops, illegal groups trekking and camping, along with the predictable human waste and immense litter left behind, have destroyed fragile Arizona ecosystems.
“Hidden Cameras on the Arizona Border,” written and narrated by Janice Kephart, takes the story to a region threatened by increased illegal immigration, the Huachuca Mountains and Coronado National Forest in the southeast quadrant of Arizona. The mountainous terrain of these borderlands are seeing increasing activity right now, with drug dealers and alien smugglers referred to as coyotes and their clients using these trails to avoid the Border Patrol, which has limited access to these areas. Hidden cameras capture illegal activity as far as 10 miles north of the Mexican border, yet also capture large species such as bears, mountain lions, deer, wild pigs, and turkeys, which are experiencing the illegal activity first hand.
On a larger scale, President Obamas immigration and environmental platforms for rule of law on our borders and a greener America remain unreconciled when it comes to the effect of the huge numbers of illegal immigrants being caught on hidden cameras trekking through public lands the federal government is responsible for controlling. These alien crossings are not legal, and they make clear that our borders are far from secure. In fact, the numbers of illegals on these trails is rising. In June 2009, 575 illegal aliens were picked up on just 14 of the hidden cameras featured in this video along 12 trials. Hundreds of these trails exist, and new ones are being cut illegally every day. And while these animals call these mountains home now, how long will these beautiful lands remain unspoiled if the border is not secured? And who is protecting this nation from those illegally trekking through them?

NEW YORK, NY — New York’s junior Senator Kirsten Gillibrand fully supports the victims family members, hero first responders, and all New Yorkers pursuit of justice concerning the events of Sept. 11th, 2001.
Filling the Senate seat of Secretary Hillary Clinton, Sen. Gillibrand is one of the first in Congress to speak publicly about her commitment to finding out what really happened during the unsolved mass murder of innocents close to eight years ago in New York, Washington, and Pennsylvania.
After hearing of the recent peer-reviewed and refereed study, which found explosives in the debris of the world trade center, Sen. Gillibrand said, Based on what youve just told me, and that 70% of family members questions were not answered during the commission hearings, I think those questions should be answered.
The scientific study is titled Active Thermitic Material Discovered in Dust from the 9/11 World Trade Center Catastrophe and authored by Niels H. Harrit, Jeffrey Farrer, Steven E. Jones, Kevin R. Ryan, Frank M. Legge, Daniel Farnsworth, Gregg Roberts, James R. Gourley, and Bradley R. Larsen.
Sen. Gillandbrand continued, So if that means another review, or a fuller hearing, or more opportunities for the families, I will support that, because I do think that its important that every family member has every question answered.
When asked if she would accept the study for review, she said, I will certainly look at the study, and review it - absolutely.
Concerning the James Zadroga bill, which would reopen the 9/11 victims compensation fund for sick first responders, Sen. Gillibrand said she is working on the House side with New Yorks Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney to, pass a 9/11 health bill. Its really important the first responders have the health care they need.
Sen. Gillibrand also said, when asked of her support for the petition campaign in New York City to give residents the ability to vote yes or no for a privately-funded investigation with full subpoena power, I would very much like to look at that issue, because the voters really should be part of the discussion. Would you give me that information, so I can review it?
In response to the report, the entrenched corporate media has been silent save for one mention on Fox News in which the company referred to the interview as being conducted by conspiracy theorists, even though the family member and fallen loved one were mentioned by name.
Speaking and presenting members of our Congress about citizens issues is our obligation, and our right. How can Fox News propagandize a loved ones simple and heartfelt concerns? And why call our Senator gullible when presented with the completely verifiable facts of the matter?
Sen. Gillibrand before leaving the venue received a copy of the film In their Own Words, a follow-up to the documentary Press for Truth. Both speak in depth about the family members concerns during the Commission hearings.
So absolutely Senator, we will give to you any and all information desired pertaining to the crime which took my Uncles life and 3,000 others years ago. We The People thank you for your honesty and integrity when answering questions about an event which begs for investigation and prosecution of those involved.

Photographers Rights And The Law In The UK - A brief guide for street photographers.
Know your rights when you’re out with your camera.
Despite the law being clear on a citizen’s rights to freely take pictures in public places (with a few restrictions) there is growing evidence of the police, police community support officers (PCSOs), security guards and general jobsworths failing to respect the rights of photographers going about their lawful business.
Street shots
If you’re on a public right of way - such as a public pavement, footpath or public highway - you’re free to take photographs for personal and commercial use so long as you’re not causing an obstruction to other users or falling foul of anti-Terrorism laws or even the Official Secrets Act (frankly, this one is unlikely).
Property owners have no right to stop people taking photos of their buildings, so long as the photographer is standing in a public place (e.g. the road outside).
However, if you’re standing on private property and the landowner/occupier objects, then they have every right to request that you stop immediately and ask you to leave if you refuse.
Shopping Centres
Most shopping centres and malls stand on private land with many gaining a notorious reputation for speedily dispatching stroppy security guards demanding that you stop taking photos.
The irony that they’re already busy filming you from every angle via a flotilla of CCTV cameras is generally lost on them.
Deleting images
Security guards do not have stop and search powers or the right to seize your equipment or delete images or confiscate film under any circumstances.
