This video is a step by step tutorial on how to Jailbreak iPod Touch 2G, in this case using the firmwareprovided on the description(recommended).

IMPORTANT: You should select (in the “Browse .ipsw file)the same file you used to configure your iPod.

If you want to use the firmware i provided: Before starting the process of Jailbreaking, you should go to iTunes, your iPod setting and hold shift and click restore. A folder will pop up, and select the .ipsw file i provided. Put that same file in the “Browse .ipsw file” of Quickpwn.

In this video I show you how to jailbreak all devices on the 3.0 firmware excluding the iPhone 3G S. This works on XP and Vista, but only intel Macs. If your computer changes the .ipsw file to a .zip just rename .zip to .ipsw. Also you can try using another browser other than Safari.
