Kind of sucks, but that’s probably true. There may be exclusive downloadable games that will be cheaper than original UMD games. But original UMD games that are also available for download more than likely will be the same price.

I don’t think games would cost less. They have games available to download,… and prices as the same as the UMD. It would cost less for them, but more work for us.

I see where you are coming from, Ninja, but I like the idea of being able to put a portable in my pocket. I had the psp 1000, and u cant put it all the way into your pocket on all of your pants. The new one is more like ipod touch size, but it’s a little thicker.

Why the do you keep spending money on UMD’s? In the long run, the new psp would save you money, as sony doesnt have to charge you to make back their money from packaging, Shipping, the actual UMD, and the plastic cases that house the instruction books. THE GAMES WOULD COST LESS! And you dont need your own ing internet, you can go to any game store and download the game from THEIRS, smart one. They are also making a device that TRANSFERS UMD’s TO DIGITAL COPIES. you dont need internet.

You’re dumb. I don’t switch every generation, I just bought the 1000, and Im gonna buy the go. That way, YOU DONT HAVE TO CARRY THE DUMB UMD’s everywhere and worry about breaking them. you can download like 10 games at a time (I’m not kidding). The 1000 is bulky as , and the go is like 3/4 the length, so it will fit in your pocket. DID I MENTION ITS A TOUCH SCREEN? It’s literally smaller, not just lighter. It’s thinner, I dont have to buy a memory card, it’s faster, and I can have blutooth.

its’ the same exact thing that they are making all the time! first they make the psp 1000 then the 2000(or something like that) witch is exactly the same just a little bit lighter! the psp 3000 and now the freaking psp go (which i think is the worst) i mean really you cant even put a UMD into it and now you have to download crap onto it…no thanks i’ll stick with my psp 1000 there is absalutely NO point in switching to the same exact thing for just more money!

Psp Go can download games off of PSN (Playstation Network) But you have to have a Credit card and/or a PSN Card witch i hope they create! So you can download games.
