Okay, I have had a nintendo ds for a long time now, I just found out that it does wifi. How? What are the adapters called and where can i get them?

You need a wireless network router. You can get them anywhere at an electronics store. Try best buy.

it just connects as anything else that uses wifi, meaning that you need a wirless router.

which is probobly what you are looking for, but I suggest getting a router

Your mixed up between the nintendo ds and the nintendo dsi. Only the dsi can connect to the internet. The ds cannot connect to the Internet. Sorry if your hopes where up. If you want the wifi free other than the actual computer. You can go buy the dsi for $170 at your local gamestop. Or walmart or target.
