This game sure was …
This game sure was disappointing.
Exploring was turned into a chore and battling into a tedious repetitive cycle.
The two things deserving praise were the visual style and the plot, which was one of the best in a Sonic game so far, maybe surpassed only by SA2.
But yes, it’s all on relative terms, because none of them is really that great.
