Best Earphones For Your iPod or MP3 Player! I am testing the Shure SE530, the sennheiser ie8, and the Denon c-751. They are all roughly the same price, but the one that really stood out to me was the sennheiser ie8, they just sound the best, well designed, and good sound isolation. The shure’s were good, but not as good as the Sennheiser’s were. The Denon c-751 was luke-warm, they didn’t sound very good to be honest, although, the fit was nice, and sound isolation wasn’t to bad.
The scores were:
Shure SE530 PTH = 7/10
Denon c-751 = 6/10
Sennheiser ie8 = 9/10

The best in the world are probably the Sennheiser HD 800 which are £1000, once you bought that, you will need a good headphone amp which will cost £600, then a good CD player which will be £2,000. So in total, for everything, it would be £3,600. Although that sounds a lot, you would have to spend about £20,000 to get the same sound quality from normal speakers.

There is nothing really wrong with the Shures, the midrange and highs are great, it’s just the wire, and the bass is a tad weak. I agree, the sleeves are very hard to get off!

Shure’s are not very good for rap, there bass is a bit weak, if you just want bass, get the Denon’s.

Hi, this is my other account, anyway, if you listen to rock, classical, and vocals, the Shure is the way to go, but if you like Dance, Hip/Hop, Rap, you should go with the Sennheiser! Although, they will both be good, I just sill prefer the Sennheiser!

I said, those headphones arent that great. I got better in-ear headphones called “Turbine”. They are prob the best. They are just to crazy of in-ear headphones. But Beats by dr dre is good too if you like those type of headphones.
