To Koldfish, James …
To Koldfish, James Cameron’s use of marines in space is just an obvious future thing, as long as we have a military there will be marines and the like.
The first use of space marines was actually Games Workshops Warhammer 40,000.
Also the use of Halo in the ad is both because its the most popular game at the moment and Virgin are the publishers so no royalty fee.

I doubt its an ad …
I doubt its an ad for Halo ODST just they were copying the look of the game.
It’s not like Halo invented space marines Bungie blatantly ripped off James Camerons 1984 movie Aliens right down to the look and even stole the black sergeant character for use in their game.

Yup, Your right its …
Yup, Your right its, just a way to make people think about the game and then when the games a few days from release you’ll resarch it and get it, a great way to advertise a game. But still ODST does look good.
