   a Laptop is a portable computer. the advantages is that you can bring them easily with you. Disadvantage, to get a laptop as good as a ordinary computer you have to pay a lot.

   What rock are you hiding uder that you don’t know what a laptop is?
   Anyway, a laptop is a small(er) computer that can fold flat and has a built in screen and keyboard. They also have touchpads instead of a mouse. The screen folds up and keyboard and touchpad are on the bottom part. If you seriously don’t know what a laptop is than look it up on google images. Laptops are usually less powerful than desktops and have smaller screens, and they almost always have built-in wifi. But they usually weigh less than 6 pounds and are much more portable than desktops.

   one disadvantage is that they are much easier to steal than ordinary computers

   the batteries often have to be replaced after a certain amount of time, at which point they’re usually going to cost more than the computer itself to replace, so the computers have a life of about 3 years…I’d say.

   well it sits on your lap so you can take it with you! a laptop is a little slower then a desktop but you can take a laptop with you less mess only has 1 power cord! a desktop has at least 3 cords and its bulky! and as far as brands get a mac! there so much better and will run faster than a pc!
