i have been through cheap and expensive wireless transmitters and they all seem to work the same… good here, ok when i drive over there and not at all when i'm in other places.
i'd look into a "WIRED" FM CAR STEREO MODULATOR. this device will plug directly into your car stereo antenna instead of traveling through the dirty air waves. there is a huge diffrence in sound quality.
you just plug the unit inline with your stereo antenna. the unit acepts rca's so all you need is a phono jack (From ipod or any other sound device) to RCA cable (goes to transmitter)

Price range $20 to $50

i picked mine up on ebay for $17 and it works great.

I don't have an IPOD Mini, but I use Griffins I-Trip with mine. Works pretty well.

What is the best quality FM transmitter for my car stereo for my iPod mini?
I need to find one that plays my songs over my stereo without any funky noise or static!
