Bloody , sorry. …
Bloody , sorry.
What are you, the ’slight mistake of a song name’ police?
Surely your complaint would only be valid if I was saying something negative about the song.

to pay £10 a month …
to pay £10 a month for LOTS AND LOTS of music every month, legally? its crazy if you would have bought all the songs you have one your ipod. and you can acces them right away, you dont need to sync with the computer?
August 7th, 2009 at 6:47 am
Ok, you’re …
Ok, you’re obviously not reading my reply. I have not at any point ‘bashed’ Spotify for their hard work. I think what they have created is brilliant, and I am grateful that there are people out there creating software that can allow us access to so much music. All I said is that, for me, I wont be getting the app, as I can’t justify the £10 a month to play music, that I can just stick on my iphone and play through the ipod function anyway. Ok? Or have I somehow managed to offend you even more?

any idea when this …
any idea when this app is gonna be released?

Yes, I’m calling …
Yes, I’m calling you a moron. No, I don’t work at Spotify. I’m from Chile so it’s very difficult that I did. I’m getting angry because you’re dissing other people’s hard work just because of Apple’s stupid restrictions.
And no, whoever or whatever limits the app from playing in the background IS relevant, don’t be stupid. Spotify didn’t limit their own app so I don’t see why you’re bashing them and comparing them to the device manufacturer.
August 7th, 2009 at 6:47 am
Are you calling me …
Are you calling me a moron? At what point did I say that Spotify had decided not to make it run in the background? Whoever decides that it wont run in the background is irrelevant. The fact that it doesn’t is one of the main reasons that I wont be paying to use this app. I ume you work for Spotify to get so angry about this, but if you don’t, go get a life.

A case of counting …
A case of counting your chickens before they are hatched no?
Surely Apple are going to reject this since it’s in direct competition with the crappy I-tunes
August 7th, 2009 at 6:47 am
@cedarbob: Nope, …
@cedarbob: Nope, Apple doesn’t allow apps from the App Store to work in the background, i.e. after
you exit the app
August 7th, 2009 at 6:47 am
Oh, okay. There’s …
Oh, okay. There’s all of Pat Metheny’s discography, both as a soloist and with the Pat Metheny Group and the Pat Metheny Trio. Even his collaboration with Anna Maria Jopek. Also, many albums from Johnny Cash, a bunch of Jean Michel Jarre and of Kraftwerk. I’m on vacation now so maybe tomorrow or on Monday I’ll check out other artists of the genres you mentioned.
August 7th, 2009 at 6:47 am
You moron, it’s not …
You moron, it’s not Spotify the stupid people who limit the app of playing in the background, it’s Apple the stupid people who limit ANY third-party “legal” app (read: downloadable from the App Store) to work in the background.
So next time, inform yourself of what your beloved company does instead of bashing other company’s hard work.

There’s no way that …
There’s no way that Apple will approve this for the App store in its current for; you will have to remove offline playback to stand any kind of chance. Back to the drawing board…
