OK the 3GS ist a few seconds faster then the 3G, but there are not soooo much diffrents.
But between the Original iPhone and the 3GS ist more diffrent.
So I think the 3GS is not needful when you have an iPhone 3G!

in all of those …
in all of those tests, it’s like 3G is slower by only .5 or something of a second. as a user, i really don’t care about the speed too much. so i’m pretty much satisfied with my 3G.
someone also told me that 3GS loads slower through time. because it has too many features.
