Or you could hack the cameras, undress, and anonymously post them all over the INTERNET.
Then of course cry "EEEEEK, Everyone saw me in my undies"...
and call Sam the sue lawyer.
References :
Daily life in America.

N.Y. LAW MAKES VIDEO PEEPING A FELONY

By JOSE MARTINEZ DAILY NEWS STAFF WRITER

Tuesday, June 24th 2003, 7:19AM

It's reality TV that doesn't amount to ratings - just a felony on the rap sheet.

Video voyeurs caught filming or photographing unsuspecting victims can land behind bars for up to seven years under the new Stephanie's Law, signed yesterday by Gov. Pataki.

The law - which bolsters a ban of on-the-sly filmmaking for sexual gratification - is named for Stephanie Fuller, whose Bay Shore, L.I., landlord stuck a tiny camera inside her bedroom's smoke detector.

The landlord, William Schultz, 54, was fined and put on probation for violating Fuller's privacy - but the new law could get similar offenders hard time and land them on a registry of sex offenders.

"That person is not just a creep and a weird individual," Pataki said. "As of today, that person will be a felon and a criminal in New York State."
References :
new york daily news

There are a number of laws that block "peeping toms" and that sort of thing.

I would go back to the H&M and see if you can get some photos/videos of the camera and then get a lawyer.
References :
Sorry couldn't find any information on it, but while searching.. found some interesting news about cell phone cameras. They are trying to pass a law that would require cell phone to make a noise when a picture is taken so that people around you are aware that someone has just taken a picture. (For those peeping toms out there!)

ADD-ON: I did more searching ... found 4 websites that all said the same thing .. it is known that cameras are in the dressing rooms. Some of these article I found dated back to 1997 .. so its been a long time thing.

Here is a link to New Yorks Privacy Protection Laws ... I didn't ready it .. but you might find the answer your looking for there.

That's illegal. The cameras are probably dummies to discourage people from stealing.

Having live cameras in a dressing room where people take off their clothes is illegal.
