I think our culture has gotten more extreme as well. I'd love to see a similar movie made nowadays, because when you have a movie without narrative or speech the visual quality is incredibly important. I'd also like to see a more global version. Vertov only filmed in Russia and Koyaanisqatsi was all American. I'd like to see a mix of most of the major nations around the world. Our film-making …
