OK, let do some …
OK, let do some math. Some ‘drone’ tech has to come into your house and set this equipment up. 5 room house means at least 5 camera plus the several in the front and back yard or building… estimate $5000.00 cost.
Now we need some braindead mook to operate or monitor the equipment,… $4000.00 per month (including health insurance). I estmate the total cost of this for one house to be $53,000.00 per year to watch a poor family that is on a government program seeing $15,000per year….Great?!!

Respondingthat …
Respondingthat irresponsible families will be monitored by CCTV in their own homes,DCSF spokesperson said
Families will not be monitored by CCTV in their homes. Through Family Intervention Projects (FIPs) we are supporting and challenging the small number of families involved in persistent anti-social behaviour. FIP workers spend time observing families in their homes, helping them to recognise that their anti-social behaviour is unacceptable.

You obviously don’t …
You obviously don’t actually watch or listen to the show.
Just yesterday he had on a doctor who doesn’t believe the swine flu was engineered, who thinks it Is going to be killing us, and doesn’t think the vaccines will be harmful.
He has people on his show who both agree and disagree, and he doesn’t tell you to “Believe Him” he tells you flat out - Get the Facts Yourself! and tells you where to start looking.

They’ve done it …
They’ve done it through the dogital tv boxes, those with Scientific Atlanta boxes… like from time warner cable, etc.. The patriot act alone gives them power to do what they want to us as long as there is a “viable threat”… which they can make from thin air out of almost anything…

Watch Nine inch Nails music video “Survivalism”

I agree, I see it …
I agree, I see it already - people take orders from the teleivision and then act as if they made those rules themselves lol. A prime example is smoking - how many people do you see standing outside their own homes to smoke? LOL - how many people did it before the television told them to?
Ok, it might be bad for children, but come on, most of these mothers smoked all the way through the pregnancy - no wonder the babies cry constantly, they’re going cold turkey.

I’ve got news for …
I’ve got news for all the people here who think it won’t/can’t happen. Most people aren’t aware that back in 2004 Apple patented a HD TV which not only ‘projects’ images, but ‘captures’ them as well (in other words, your HD tv has the capability of being a camera). Strange how its 2009 and been kept so quiet eh?

Yes, the wheelie …
Yes, the wheelie bin chips do exist - they were bragging about it a while back on the news. Stupid idea though - once the bin is outside, anyone can put anything in anyones bin and the person who the chip is linked to will be blamed. About time they cut down on the food packaging then this problem wouldn’t be an issue.

One worry is that …
One worry is that so many people get sucked into tv, the tv will then be telling people what to eat, where to sleep, what to say, how to conduct yourself according to media ‘polls’ and so on.
I have to avoid people chatting about a certain character in a soap orera or did you hear what that celebrity whasthername got up to etc, etc,
And whats with the tabloids labelling footballer..”stars”?, no, they are atheletes.
it goes on and on………..bin the TV people, get rid of it!.
Peace.

I’d like to know …
I’d like to know who is going to sit there 24/7 and view these live cameras? Surely it will have to be on a one to one basis, so that’s a lot of people who will be paid for nosing into peoples homes.
August 11th, 2009 at 10:46 am
I agree …
I agree concernedagain. I can’t stand it when my kids are watching that useless program. I’ve never understood why they want to watch a room full of boring people acting like fools…….and its the voice over that gets me - where did they find the most boring voice in the world? The program is actually popular and I can’t understand why for the life of me - people talk about it everywhere - all I can say is that they must have totally empty lives. (and brains)

thats so not true.. …
thats so not true… The Royal family generate more spending in the country as any multinational country… The tax what is spent by people vistiting to country to see them, vastly outweights the 2pence a month that we each give them..

Jason is quoting …
Jason is quoting the Daily Express, well known for scare mongering. I’m not saying it’s right, but ask yourself, if you lived next door to one of these families, wouldn’t you welcome it…
